Ohio: Security officer hit with car as shoplifter flees
Cincinnati police said a fleeing shoplifter struck a security officer with her vehicle and knocking him to the ground Thursday night. Rasheeda Lawson , 25, is accused of stealing $15.77 in medication and then trying to flee United Dairy Farmers, 5800 Glenway Ave., Cincinnati police wrote in court records.
A store security officer saw the alleged offense and tried to stop her as she got into her silver Infiniti, records state. Her vehicle struck him with the driver's side door, knocking him to the ground and causing visible injuries, police wrote.
The security officer is expected to recover, police said. Lawson fled the scene and remains at large. She is wanted on a robbery charge, court records show.
