Alabama: Firefighter Reportedly Hit By Car On I-10

A Grand Bay firefighter responding to an accident on I-10 is one of those hurt in an early morning accident. First responders reported the firefighter was hit by a car near the 5-mile marker on interstate 10 westbound. We don’t completely know the firefighter’s condition, but he was reportedly taken to USA Medical Center with a broken leg.

Rain likely played a factor in this accident. Visibility was very poor as heavy rains blanket some of the most travelled roads in the area.
