Pennsylvania: fire police officer struck by car while directing traffic

A fire police officer was struck by a vehicle while responding a call Monday. 6 ABC reported that the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. The fire police officer was directing traffic for a fire call when he was struck by a woman driving along the road. The firefighter was transported by ground to a hospital and his condition is not yet clear. Images from the scene show a vehicle with front-end damage.
