New York: NYSP: Arrest Albany Man for DWI After A Trooper Was Almost Struck By His Vehicle
State troopers in Saratoga arrested 24-year-old Jason K. Rampersad of Albany for a DWI.
A trooper was on a traffic stop on State Rt.9, in the city of Saratoga Springs, with his police car emergency lights on when Rampersad failed to yield the right of way and almost struck the trooper who was standing roadside.
Rampersad was then stopped and arrested for driving while intoxicated.
It was determined that Rampersad had a blood alcohol content of .20%.
He was issued traffic tickets and will return to Saratoga Springs Court on September 9th at 9:00 A.M.
