New York: 2 Officers Injured After Patrol Car Struck During Traffic Stop: NYPD
Two officers sustained minor injuries after their patrol car was rear-ended while making a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in Brooklyn, the NYPD said. The officers were stopping a car by eastbound Belt Parkway and Erskine Street in East New York around 2:15 a.m. when they were hit, police said.
The officers were taken to Jamaica Hospital to be treated for neck and back pain. The driver who hit the patrol car was placed in custody.
