Massachusetts: Man Arrested After Officer's Cruiser Struck
Police in Billerica, Massachusetts, say a Lowell man has been arrested for OUI after an officer's cruiser was rear-ended by a vehicle Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on Route 3 northbound prior to exit 29 around 2 a.m. The cruiser was fully-equipped and had emergency lights activated.
The officer was transported to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington with minor injuries. He has since been released.
Jeffrey Walsh, 31, is facing charges of OUI and a marked lanes violation. He was not injured
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the situation.
