Pennsylvania: State trooper struck by car rehabbing injuries, drivers involved receive summary traffic citations

Minor citations have been issued to drivers involved in late March crash that seriously injured State Police Sgt. Robert Bemis. Summary traffic violations were issued to two drivers involved in the crash that the 23-year veteran of state police. Fines are typically assessed for summary traffic violations in Pennsylvania. Tpr. Adam Reeed, a spokesman for state police, said Bemis, 47, has been discharged from the hospital and has been moved to a rehabilitation facility in Hershey.
