New York: Officer struck by a passing vehicle Cross County Parkway in Yonkers
A Westchester County police officer was struck by a passing vehicle Cross County Parkway in Yonkers. The officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening, according to police.
The officer was investigating an earlier crash when hit by a passing motorist just after 4 a.m on the eastbound Cross County at the split between local and express lanes, police said. That motorist was not charged, county police said.
