Maryland: MdTA Worker Struck and Killed On 95

Maryland State Police are investigating after a maintenance worker for the Maryland Transportation Authority (MdTA) was struck and killed by a van today on I-95. The incident occurred in the Southbound lanes of I-95 near Route 155 in Havre de Grace.

Troopers identify the worker who died as 59-year-old Michael Pearce of Abingdon. State Police Sgt. Mark Black says that Pearce was part of a work crew assigned to mow the grassy area along the highway.
