California: Mountain View: Officer hit by car while investigating attempted fraud
A police officer suffered minor injuries Wednesday night after he was hit by a car while investigating a fraud report, officials said. The unidentified officer responded shortly before 9 p.m. to the parking lot outside the AT&T store located at 1040 Grant Road for a fraud attempt, according to Mountain View police.
While attempting to stop a car believed to be involved in the incident, the officer was hit by the vehicle, police said. All four suspects involved in the incident were detained, police added. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for minor injuries. No one else was injured.
