Virginia: Deputy Hit by Car While Directing Traffic in School Zone
Police say a Caroline County deputy was injured when he was hit by a car while directing traffic in a school zone. Virginia State Police tell media outlets that the accident occurred around 7 a.m. in an intersection near Caroline High School in Milford. State police say the deputy was wearing a reflective vest equipped with LED lights and was using a traffic baton.
