Pennsylvania: Police Officer Struck By Vehicle In Montgomery County
Authorities say a police officer was struck by a vehicle in Pottstown, Montgomery County Thursday night. This happened just before 9 p.m. on East High Street near Moser Road. Lower Pottsgrove Police say an officer pulled over a vehicle, when that driver took off, striking the officer. The officer then reportedly opened fire on that car.
The officer has been treated and released from the hospital, according to police. Police say the suspect has been hospitalized. Montgomery County Detectives and Lower Pottsgrove Police are investigating.
