North Carolina: Officer hit by vehicle on Monroe Road released from hospital
A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was struck by a vehicle Tuesday and has since been released from the hospital. CMPD says an officer was trying to arrest Wesley Scarbrough for outstanding warrants on Monroe road when he was struck. The warrants for Scarbrough included breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, felony conspiracy, and misdemeanor larceny. The Officer was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
