Pennsylvania: State Trooper Struck on I-81

A state police trooper was struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon while he was helping a motorist at a disabled vehicle in the southbound lane of Interstate 81 near Frackville. The trooper was flown to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and the southbound lane was shut down south of the Frackville exit.
