Pennsylvania Firefighter Injured in Hazleton Hit and Run

A firefighter was also injured in a hit and run in Luzerne County.Firefighters with the Hazleton Fire Department were directing traffic at the scene of a crash near the intersection of East Diamond Avenue and North Cedar Street around 4:30. Police say James Caso hit a firefighter after trying to drive through the road closure. They say he then left the scene and proceed to shop at a nearby store. He was later arrested and charged. The firefighter suffered a leg injury.
