Ohio: Dayton Fire Truck Struck by Driverless Car
A Dayton fire pumper truck has a new dent, thanks to an over-excited motorist who jumped out of his car while it was still in motion. A firefighter tells us the pumper truck was parked at the scene of a minor traffic accident in the 100 block of Boltin Street about 10:30 p.m. The driver, said to have been a relative of someone involved in the accident, drove up in a car and seemed agitated or excited as he got out of it. Problem is, he left in gear and it continued on — sans driver — until it hit the city vehicle.
