Canada: OPP officer hit by snowmobile
A trail-side stop left one man with a string of charges after striking an Ontario Provincial Police officer, Sunday. Police say one of two officers at the site had stopped a number of snowmobilers on the outer harbour of Penetanguishene Bay, near Peek-A-Boo Trail, when another driver approached and struck the officer with his snow machine at around 9 p.m. Sunday. The officer subdued the driver, arrested and transported him to the Southern Georgian Bay detachment.
