Arizona DPS officer struck by SUV in Phoenix
An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer was hit by a vehicle in Phoenix Tuesday night. The officer is in stable condition, according to Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Benjamin Santillan. Preliminary information indicates the officer was struck by a SUV at 27th Avenue and Camelback Road. The officer, whose name was not released, was complaining of feeling dizzy and experiencing pain to an arm. He was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
