Virginia: Police Officer Struck by Vehicle During Pursuit

A Galax police officer was hit by a car Thursday night during a foot pursuit. A Galax Police Department spokesman says Officer Jacob Vaughan was struck by a vehicle just after 6 p.m. near the intersection of East Stuart Drive and North Main Street.
