Texas: Firefighter Struck and Pinned by Fire Apparatus
A Houston (Texas) area Firefighter has been hospitalized after he was pinned between two trucks inside a northwest Harris County firehouse.
It happened this morning at the Little York Fire Department. Initial reports are that the firefighter was sitting on the back of fire apparatus when a large pickup truck pulled into the station bay and pinned him between the two trucks.
The firefighter was transported via LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. The 23-year-old is reportedly employed as a part-time firefighter there, and as a full-time firefighter at the Ponderosa Fire Department.
