Australia: Alleged Drunk Driver Hits Police Officer

A police officer issuing a speeding ticket in Queensland has been struck by a car allegedly driven by a drunk driver. The Sunshine Coast officer was issuing an infringement notice on the Maroochydore Road at Kuluin about 7.10pm on Tuesday when another car allegedly veered across the lane and clipped him with the side mirror.
