New York: Deputy Hit by Truck After Robbery Attempt; Pittsford Man Charged
Shortly after, two deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office arrived at Deprez neighbor's home. Only to find, Colby Reed rifling through Deprez's attached garage.
"The perpetrator was just coming out of the driveway here and ran around his, (the neighbor's) house," Deprez showed.
That prompted a foot chase around a few of the homes on Brook Road. Then, according to the felony complaint, Reed, jumped into his SUV and tried to make a run for it, hitting one of the deputies in the process; then this. "21 shots fired," officers said over the scanner feed.
Two shots were fired into Reed's car, he was uninjured. The deputy Reed struck, received a minor injury to his left knee. He was taken to Rochester General Hospital.
