Missouri: Saline County Sheriff's Deputy Involved in Horrible Crash
According to Saline County Sheriff Wally George, Deputy Daniel A. Kirchhoff was involved in an accident around 6 a.m. Thursday morning, Oct. 2, on westbound Interstate 70, after mile marker 76. Kirchhoff was working traffic while Cadwell's Towing wrecker was towing a car that had crashed into the median cables, George said.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Kirchhoff, 32, of Marshall, and a 2012 Ford F-550 were stationary with emergency equipment activated for a previous crash.
