Illinois State Police Officer Hit By Drunk Driver
An Illinois State Police officer remains in the hospital Sunday after being run over by a drunk driver. According to the state police, 55-year old Leslie Thurow of Mount Prospect, who was already on probation for an aggravated DUI conviction earlier this summer allegedly was intoxicated Saturday when she struck an Illinois State Police trooper on I-294 north.
