Australia: Firefighter Struck by Car While Battling Fire in Haze
A FIREFIGHTER was rushed to hospital after he was struck by a car while battling a blaze in Goodna late yesterday. Senior Sergeant Robert Goodger was at the scene and said the 51-year-old was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with suspected leg and back injuries. "The QFES were here fighting the fire and there was very thick smoke coming across the road," Snr Sgt Goodger said.
