Delaware Faces Tough Road Conditions-Police Car Struck
In Sussex County, emergency crews were dealing with a series of crashes on icy Seashore Highway (Del. 404) west of Georgetown, involving about a half dozen vehicles, including a state trooper's car. Fournier said the trooper was pulled to the side of the road about 8:24 a.m. investigating the earlier crashes when an on-coming car slid on the ice and collided with the front left bumper of the patrol car.
