Vermont Police Urge the Public to Slow Down in Bad Weather
A cruiser was hit by another vehicle on Interstate 89 in Sharon on Wednesday, February 19, sending a trooper to the hospital. State Police said Trooper Christopher Blais had stopped on the southbound interstate, with his emergency lights activated, to assist a motorist whose vehicle had spun out in the snow when the police cruiser was struck from behind by an SUV driven by Alden Hall, 44, of Lebanon. Blais was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with a potential back injury and later released, Keefe said.
