Washington: Trooper Injured in Traffic Stop
A state trooper was struck by an alleged drunk driver during a traffic stop in Moses Lake Monday night. Trooper Jeremy Weber, 40, of Waterville, was treated on scene for his injuries, according to the State Patrol. Weber was conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of West Broadway Avenue and South Gumwood Street about 10 p.m. While he was outside his patrol car, he was reportedly struck by a vehicle as it passed in the right lane.
