Kentucky: Two People Critically Injured After Rear-Ending Fire Truck on I-64 in Shelby County

"Weather played a role in the first accident," Simpsonville's Fire Chief Ronnie Sowder said.  The second happened just before 7:30 a.m. as emergency crews responded to the scene of the first crash when a car rear-ended a fire truck from the Eastwood Fire Department.  The Simpsonville fire chief said the truck was responding to a non-injury accident when it was rear-ended by a Dodge with two people inside.
