Maryland: Perryville Fire Police Officer Remains in Critical Condition
David Barr, Sr., the Perryville Fire Company fire police officer struck by a car on Route 40 Friday evening while directing traffic at an accident scene, remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday night at Christiana Hospital, according to family members. Barr was wearing his reflective vest when he was struck at the scene of a three-car accident on Route 40, but a preliminary police investigation determined sun glare may have been a factor in the collision.
