California: Suspect Hits Officer With Vehicle

A Bakersfield police officer is recovering after police said a suspect struck him with his SUV. Bakersfield police said Wednesday night that a BPD officer tried to make contact with 21 year-old Michael Mickelson while he was in his vehicle in the area of Hageman Road and Calloway Drive. Police said they wanted to talk with him about a burglary that had happened earlier in the day.
