Kansas City, Kansas Firefighter Clipped by Van While Directing Traffic

A Kansas City, Kan., firefighter was hit by a passenger van while helping direct traffic Tuesday afternoon. A Fire Department spokesman said crews were on a medical call in the 400 block of Greystone Avenue about 2:40 p.m., and a firefighter was helping direct traffic on the narrow street when he was clipped by the side mirror on the van.
