South Carolina: Summerville Police Officer Hit by Car
A police officer was transported to MUSC after being hit by a car Wednesday morning. Cpl. Bob Beres of the State Highway Patrol says the accident happened at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. The victim was identified as Summerville police officer Jason Workman. Beres said Workman was transported to MUSC by EMS. Details of his injuries have not been released.
