Penn State Police Officer Struck by Vehicle

A Penn State Police officer is currently in serious condition after being struck by a car Tuesday morning while on bicycle-patrol along East Park Avenue, according to the State College Police Department. Officer Jennifer Williams, 27, was riding her police issued bicycle on patrol on the 600 block of East Park Avenue at about 6:30 a.m. when she was struck by a Hyundai Elantra driven by Walter Browne, 56, of Bellefonte.
