Florida: Man Charged with Aggravated Battery on Manatee County Deputy

A 23-year-old man was charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and other charges this morning after what started out as a noise complaint. When a deputy arrived, he observed a vehicle parked in the roadway with extremely loud music coming from the car. The deputy started to talk to the driver and the driver took off in the suspect vehicle. The deputy had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck by the suspect vehicle, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.The suspect vehicle was spotted shortly after the incident and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended several minutes later when the suspect went down a dead end street. After the suspect turned around in the 2300 block of 12th Street Court West, Bradenton, he struck a K-9 vehicle and a patrol vehicle as a deputy was exiting
