North Carolina Volunteer Firefighter Hit By Van That Drove Through Detour

A firefighter was hit by a car while responding to a wreck involving an overturned tractor trailer on Highway 52 North near Moore-RJR Drive early Monday morning. According to the King Fire Department, around 5 am a car drove through a coned off area sideswiping a fire department car and then hitting a volunteer firefighter.
