New Jersey Crossing Guard Struck

A crossing guard who was wearing a bright yellow reflective jacket, was struck down at Grant and Brookside avenues Friday morning. The accident occurred at about 8:15 a.m. Police discovered Visich laying on the ground during a routine check they conduct every morning to make sure crossing guards are at their posts.
