Mississippi Deputy Hit By Car

It happened this afternoon newar the BP gas station on Highway 80 at Metro Center Mall. Inmates with Hinds County were mowing grass along the mall. Some paper flew out of a car window and the deputy tried to pick it up.  A car slammed into the back of another vehicle that was stopped, causing it to hit the deputy. He was taken to the hospital and may have a broken leg.
