Washington: Fatal Crash at Gig Harbor, Trooper Also Injured

The Washington State Patrol says a 44-year-old woman was struck and killed Monday morning on Highway 16 at Gig Harbor. Trooper Guy Gill says she was out of vehicle trying to help at a collision when she was hit.  Gill says a trooper at the scene also was struck and he suffered a knee injury
