West Virginia Police Officer Hit While Directing Traffic

A driver turning into Trace Fork Boulevard off Corridor G in Charleston Saturday apparently only saw one of two officers there to direct traffic. The driver hit one officer in the leg. A South Charleston police officer was hit by a vehicle while directing traffic. West Virginia State Police say it happened about 6:15 Saturday on Trace Fork Boulevard at the four-way intersection near the Men's Wearhouse store.
