Corning Man Arrested for Hitting New York State Trooper
State Police have arrested Corning man after he hit a State Trooper. Police say John Creeley, 63, was driving on South Hamilton Street in the Town of Erwin when he had to stop for troopers directing traffic around an accident. Officials say when Creeley felt he had waited long enough, he disregarded the trooper directing traffic and drove through the intersection, swiping the side of the trooper.
