Florida: After Passing Emergency Vehicle, Driver Finds Devil in the Details
Motrin and Advil are known generically as ibuprofen, and you can buy the drug at any supermarket. But there’s a devil in the details, as a West Palm Beach man learned when he was stopped by Palm Beach police on Sunday.
The driver, who told an officer he was in town looking for a job at a hotel or restaurant, made a mistake by passing an emergency vehicle on South County Road without slowing down. It’s called Florida’s “Move Over” law, and it requires you to either change lanes on a multi-lane road or slow to 20 mph under the speed limit.
