Florida Deputy Hit by Driver Distracted by Homeless Man

A motorcycle deputy was hit by a truck when a homeless man in an intersection distracted the driver. Deputy Richard Depianta, 38, a 10-year veteran of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, was hit by Brian Nolen, 52, of Lakeland, when Nolen became distracted by a homeless man the deputy was telling to get out of an intersection, officials said.
