North Carolina Woman Charged After Hitting Deputy With Her Car

Officials said a Craven County Sheriff's Deputy was hit by a car while directing traffic. It happened at U.S. 17 North and Weyerhauser Road just after noon. Troopers said deputy David Langston, 30, had been directing traffic as crews worked on a traffic light.
