New York Deputy Injured in Crash
A Monroe County deputy was injured early Tuesday morning when his patrol car was rear ended on 490 near Route 441. Deputies were called to westbound 490 at about 2:30 a.m. after a tractor trailer hit a guardrail. A deputy had just placed flares on the highway and was inside his patrol car, blocking the lane with emergency lights on, when his cruiser was rear ended by a westbound vehicle.
