New Jersey Cop Hit by Car While Directing Traffic

A police officer directing traffic through a Verizon work zone on Tuckerton Road west of the Jackson Road intersection at about 10:43 a.m. on Feb. 11 was hit by a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Melissa Marshall, 52, of Medford Lakes, police said.
