Driver, 21, Faces Charges for Hitting New York Firefighter

A firefighter from the southtowns is recovering after he was struck by a car while responding to a separate accident. Veteran volunteer-firefighter, Jimmy Stevenson of the Spring Brook Fire Department, was directing traffic on the 400 expressway after a minor two-car crash Tuesday night. But while responding to one call, he quickly became the victim of another.
