Fleeing Driver Rams Wisconsin Police Car, Runs Over Officer's Foot

Cocaine and recklessly endangering safety charges are pending against a 40-year-old man accused of leading police on a car chase Thursday morning. At about 1:30 a.m., officers attempted to arrest the man on several drug violations, said Fond du Lac Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin Lemke.

Officers approached the man while he was parking at a home on Sixth Street between Fond du Lac and Park Avenues. The man stepped on the gas pedal, ramming an unmarked squad car and pushing it out of the way to exit the driveway, said Lemke.
