Maryland State Trooper Chases Down Car That Hit Him

A car struck a Maryland State Trooper tonight on the outer loop of the Beltway near River Road then fled the scene. It happened shortly after 7:30 pm. The trooper was on the scene of a minor three car crash when he was hit. Police say the trooper rolled off the hood of the car then got back in his cruiser to chase the driver.
