Massachusetts Trooper Injured While Enforcing Law Meant to Protect Him
State Trooper Corey Rose was injured on Route 24 Saturday while trying to enforce a law designed specifically to protect him. Rose was sitting in his cruiser when it was struck from behind by an alleged drunken driver. Twenty-two-year old Fatima Baptista, of Brockton, who had been pulled over by Rose, said Rose stopped her because she did not follow the “Move Over Law.”
